Rule 22
Procedure for Appeal

(1) In a case in which the Government of Nepal is a plaintiff, if it appears that an appeal must be made based on the evidence attached to the missile on the decision made by a court or an authority or body that hears the case, the government lawyer assigned to file a complaint or to file an appeal on such a decision shall prepare a draft of the appeal. It should be sent to the public prosecutor's office, which is responsible for filing the appeal, within ten days of the commencement of the appeal period. But in the case of appeal to the district court, the relevant public prosecutor of the district public prosecutor's office will appeal or petition.
(2) After receiving the draft of the appeal according to sub-rule (1), the public prosecutor of the concerned public prosecutor's office shall examine the received draft and if it appears that an appeal should be made, the appeal shall be made to the relevant court on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
